Jon Stewart returns to the Daily Show

Full disclosure:  I did not watch the whole show yet.

I did, however get this tidbit this morning:

There used to be a time where both sides could “get it” from these types of shows. Late night talk shows, SNL, etc. Once Lucy pulled the football in 2016 all those people lost their goddamn minds and decided the stakes were too high and started shilling for one side, completely forgoing funny.

Think what SNL could do with the hilarity the current admin provides daily, but chooses not to. It could be comedy gold if they let it be. Maybe Jon Stewart will lead the way back but I’m not gonna spare myself the oxygen.
