Jonah had a handful of rough reps, but overall played better than what many are thinking. Collins was up and down, but was really solid in the 4th quarter. He looked rusty and spent too much time on the ground in the 1st half, but he also had some really outstanding reps mixed in there. Volson had a rough day as a whole, but if you watch every rep he had, there's also reason for optimism with him. His negative reps were the story, but man...there were some nice ones in there too, especially in the 2nd half.
Bengal Sans on Locked On Bengals suggested that aside from the sacks, Volson actually didn't play that terribly. Maybe there's hope there.

Apparently his Grade in the 2nd Half was a 93....

Micah Parsons is moved all over the field. He's a freak of nature: very fast, agile, and powerful, with a special knack. But he is also versatile and moved all over the field. Last game did go by the left tackle twice to a sack on Brady (and made it look easy), but he could come at you from anywhere. I don't know how you possibly game plan for him.

Cordell Volson had a rough day at left guard; when a guard struggles it puts the tackle next to him on an island. I’m not worried about Jonah Williams. When either Cordell gets better or Max Scharping plays people will see how much Jonah “improves.”

How could you go back and watch the game again? That must have been dreadful.

Nice, gonna re-watch the game today as it is pouring out. This is what I wanted to hear and what I thought i saw on
Sunday. Also what I expected especially if we came out throwing. That isn't the way you should start your opener if you
want the OL to gain chemistry. If you are going to pass, do short screens, slants, curls, outs, fades etc.
Passes that aren't over the middle for the Defense to take to the house.

Hopefully we are 2-1 here in a couple weeks while the O-line is really gelling together. If so, it's all good.
Sucks losing to these bastids in the opener in the Division and Conference but it is an extremely long season and we
still have 5 more Divisional games and a bunch of AFC games to make up for our crappy opener.

Yes, he is my one fear going into this game. Great player, don't know of another quite like Micah Parsons.
Just don't let this one player wreck our game plan of a win.

I've been thinking the same thing but no one else seems to have mentioned it (maybe in fear of being accused of "excusing" Jonah's play) so I thought maybe I was wrong.
If FiK says it, I must be right.

And I think there's a very strong chance we will be. Then we'll have our feet underneath us and be ready for Phins on Thursday night.
