Yeah, even if Taco falls to the 2nd round, I think this guy deserves a look. He's a poor man's Barnett, I guess.
Today I'm TEAM SEWELL. Tomorrow TEAM PITTS. Maybe TEAM CHASE. I can't decide, and glad I don't have to.

Only cause of the smaller school.

Willis is much better at stopping the run than Barnett and is much more physical.

I like Jordan Willis more than any other DE in the 2nd round right now, even better than Taco if he falls honestly.

Taco is a little slow getting off his blocks and dances around a bit too much for my liking.

Willis can do it all, rush the passer and stop the run with strength and athleticism.

Nice thread Derrick. Rock On

He's better than Taco. Taco plays too much patty cake ND looks really soft too.

I am a Willis fan. But don't count out the Bengals selecting two defensive ends early.

At 255 he'll need to put on another 20-30 lbs to start on the dline..  The lightest Bengal on the dline I think is either Gilberry or Johnson around 270 and up.

Agreed. Clarke is a free agent after this season, and then MJ and Dunlap are free agents after the 2018 season along with Geno. I wouldn't be surprised to see us double dip on DE and thrown in a DT.

I could see the Bengals drafting someone like Allen if he falls due to medical concerns, and selecting Willis or Walker in round 2.  Drafting back-to-back DE would not surprise me at all.

After listening to Guenther talk about pass rushers, I don't think the Bengals are looking for a true 3 down guy.

I think you'll see a couple of pass rushers that will be used in the rotation.  I don't think a guy like Willis would be asked to put on weight.
