Kevin Coyle for DC?
#1
Given the struggles the Bengals have been having to fill the DC spot, I'm surprised Kevin Coyle's name hasn't come up.
He had success with the Bengals in the past as their DBs coach and even spent time with Zac Taylor while being the DC in MIA.
Coyle is now the HC for the Atlanta Legends AAF team, so I don't know if he's permitted (or would even want) to leave the AAF midseason to be DC in Cincinnati.

If there was mutual interest between the Bengals and KC along with him being able to leave the AAF midseason, would this be a solid move at this point? At least for the next 1-2 years?
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Patience has paid off!

I don't remember his time as dolphins DC... I know the AAF players have nfl clauses not so sure about the coaches.

Even if he is technically "able" to quit and come to the NFL, should he? To just up and renege on a commitment to be a team's HC, while a season is going on, would say some pretty unspeakable things about a man's character.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations
