For sure, wonder if this is a sign of how high the coaches are on Zach Carter and maybe a sign of Cam Sample doing some 3-tech.

it's not that they're high on zac carter, it's that they invested a 3rd round pick on him, so they're gonna see what he's got

I mean, bengals could improve the LG spot with Spain, but it seems like they want to ride it out with unproven guys like Jackson and Volson

The entire NFL recognized Lawson's ability.  That is why he was rated so highly as a free agent and got such a big contract.

I did not want to give him a big contract because of his injury issue, but if you watched him play you could see he was a great pass rusher.

People who think "pressure" on a QB does not make any difference unless there is a sack have never seen the statistical difference of how QBs produce "under pressure" compared to from a clean pocket.

That would put a ton of money on the D-line.

Based on average yearly salary we already have.  .  .
Hendrickson......$15 million
Reader..............$13.3 million
Hubbard...........$10 million
Hill...................$10 million

You gotta see what you got in your picks. True. Hopefully we don't suffer cause of this and they are ready.

It also works the same way with NTs that just play mostly un running downs.  D-linemen don't usually get a tackle on a pass play unless it is a sack.  So NTs that just play mostly running downs will have a higher ratio of tackles to snaps played.

PFF subscribers can tell us exactly how many of Hill's and Ogunjobi's snaps were against runs and how many against passes.

Per PFF:

Those numbers, especially the snap counts, just don't look right.  I can understand some differences on how they credit sacks and stuff like that, but how can they be so far off on snaps played?

That's total for the season (playoffs included). He had 502 for the regular season.
