Le'Veon Bell Threatens To Sit Out Next Season If He's Franchised

I don't disagree with you, however at the same time i also understand that this is just a ploy by him and that he will play either for a contract the Steelers offer him or the franchise tag.

It's still ridiculous. I always find it funny when people listen to football players comments like they are some kind of highly intelligent people that make thoroughly thought out statements.  Let's be real....That's just not the case.

He already passed up on a huge contract. I don’t see a bigger one coming his way. He’s talented as hell but he’s not going to put up those numbers on another team, and the other teams know it.
In the future, you will hold your tongue until you have discovered where the surplus population is and who it is. It may well be that  in the sight of Heaven  you are more worthless and less fit to live than millions like this poor child.

Allegations would mean that they were potentially false, which Ben has admitted to them happening but just claims things like "a college girl got herself drunk and then willingly went into the bathroom and my bodyguards were only giving her what she wanted when they took her by the arm and 'escorted' (forced) her into the hall and then she wanted me to follow her into the bathroom to have sex with her!"

Run his wheels off this year and let him go next season.

While Bell is a great back, the Steelers don't consider runningbacks franchise type players because of their short lifespan and they've won with lesser backs. Their offer to him last year really surprised me, him turning it down surprised me even more. But the fact that he turned it down pretty much says hes gone after this season. That was likely the steelers best and final offer. They'll use the money they save to pay Ben's replacement.
I was actually impressed in the limited carries I saw from Ridley (I think it was Ridley) in the final game against the Browns (I think) and was thinking that Bell should be worried if he's going to keep messing around like this and demanding more money.

The Steelers know it, too, and that's why they're not caving.

However, even with what I said above about Ridley, I also don't think any back can do what Bell does in terms of rushing AND receiving, even if Ridley did look ok.
