Mark Duffner Returns To Cincinnati for the First Time as a Coordinator!
#1
He's STILL around and this his first coordinator job since he was our DC, back in 2002.

He's improved their D just a bit since he took over, but Cleveland is the only game this year that the Bucs haven't allowed 400 total yards.

Just thought I'd throw that little tidbit out there :)

I remember when they offered him the Head Coaching gig but he passed it up so Dick LeBeau could take it. Nice gesture, but, LeBeau ended up being a terrible Head Coach.

Sadly, lol; some guys are great assistants/coordinators, but just can't hack it in the big time.

See it in Major League Baseball all the time too.

The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
