Kerrigan has been a better pass rusher in his career compared to Ingram.
Kerrigan entered the league in 2011 and has 95.5 sacks.
Ingram entered the league in 2012 and has 49.0 sacks.

I'd happily accept either one, but I'd lean toward Kerrigan if both were willing to come to the Bengals.

Kerrigan might be more interested to come to the Bengals given Cincy is only a 2 hour drive from where he grew up (Muncie, IN).
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins

Ur argument is not sustainable. Lawson obviously a pure pass rusher Hendrickson is not but through the start of their careers both have the same amount of sacks. The both have different styles. Kerrigan is more like Hubbard and Hendrickson where as Ingram is more like Lawson whom I’m trying to replace. Hendrickson imo replaced Dunlap

Thanks for the sacks stats Ocho.

Him being closer to where he grows up and getting more snaps than in Washington are excellent reasons for him to sign here
over Washington. I would be happy with either one as well. I like Ingram a lot too for us.

Good argument, sacks aren't everything that is for damn sure. Would love Ingram just the same.

So, you're saying that you prefer occasional lightning, as opposed to sustained thunder causing twice as much havok?

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

So you're saying Ingram is a better pure pass rusher than Kerrigan, even though Kerrigan has nearly double the amount of sacks in the same timespan of their careers?

EDIT - From pro-football-reference, here are the total pressures for each since 2018.
Kerrigan:
2018 - 30 (470 pass rush snaps)
2019 - 25 (305 pass rush snaps)
2020 - 13 (238 pass rush snaps)
--------------------
Total - 68 (1013 pass rush snaps)

Ingram:
2018 - 31 (547 pass rush snaps)
2019 - 23 (375 pass rush snaps)
2020 - 12 (236 pass rush snaps)
--------------------
Total - 66 (1158 pass rush snaps)

I'd take someone like Kerrigan over Ingram every time, as I don't agree Ingram is the better pure pass rusher. Also, I'd take someone who can do more than just pass rush, as you never know when Hendrickson and/or Hubbard gets injured and misses time.

Pretty even on the pressures and clearly the better finisher is Kerrigan. Thanks for this Ocho.

Sad.
Curious to know the contract details, but I know the Bengals have plenty to sign him.
Unless they plan to get a DT on Day 2, I doubt a draft pick would be as good as him.
If they bring Atkins back for as much or more than what Hurst signed for, I'll be irritated.
