Mock w/trades
#1
Bengals trade AJ McCarran, 5th round comp(176 overall), and 6th round comp(217 overall) to the Jets for a 2nd rounder(39 overall) and 3rd round comp(107 overall).

Bengals trade 2nd round from Jets(39 overall) and 2nd round(41 overall) to the Titans for 1st round(18 overall) and 3rd round comp(100 overall)

Round 1, 9th overall=Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford-Not much explaining needed here. We need pass rush help pretty desperately, and Thomas is likely to be the bpa available at 9, making this a no brainer.

Round 1, 18th overall=John Ross, WR, Washington-This pick doesn't make sense on the surface, with LaFell resigned and the OL a question mark, but Ross is a difference maker that can help the OL immensely. His speed dictates that he will get a lot of big cushions that can be converted into quick WR screens to keep the offense on schedule. He can bust quick slants to the house. Frankly, I have more hope that the OL can pass protect for one deep strike than holding it together for 10+ play drives.

Round 3, 73rd overall=Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma-This is a pick you pretty much love or hate, but if you hate it, it isn't because of the kid's talent. Hill isn't cutting it and has terrible vision, Giovanni is coming back from injury, and it looks like Rex and Peerman are gone.

Round 3, 100th overall=Anthony Walker Jr., LB, Northwestern-Plays fast and a great leader with work ethic. Should solidify the MLB position for the next 4 years.

Round 3,107th overall=Isaac Asiata, G, Utah-Big 320+ pound mauler to compete with Westerman for the starting RG spot.

Round 4, 116th overall=Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M-A bit of a project with only 1 year of experience at DE, but Hall has the prototypical frame the Bengals like.

Round 4, 138th overall=Eddie Vanderdoes, DT, UCLA-Competes for snaps inside.

Round 5, 153rd overall=Marlon Mack, RB, South Florida-Provides insurance for Hill, Giovanni, and Mixon.

Round 6, 193rd overall=Jaylen Myrick, CB, Minnesota-Spells the end for Pac man.

Round 7,227th overall=Zane Gonzalez, K,Arizona St.-Competes for the K job.

Round 7, 251st overall=Ben Boulware, LB, Clemson-Might make the roster with ST's.
