Most bullied person on the planet is one of the victims of the Capitol attack
#1
Melania Trump, our brave First Lady and the most bullied person on the planet, was one of the victims of the Capitol attack.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/first-lady-melania-trump-path-forward/

After a touching tribute in which she directly mentions the names of the terrorists patriots who died in the same breath as the law enforcement officer who died from their attack demonstration on the Capitol, the oft-victimized Mrs. Trump said she was disappointed "with what happened" and took the oppurtunity to use more charged language and directly criticize anyone who used it as an oppurtunity to bully her.

Be best, America, because no one in that family will be...

Poor thing.   All she probably wanted was a rich old guy to die and leave her a lot of money and she had to witness this.  Tsk.

All seriousness aside she's just another tone deaf, doesn't care, zero empathy Trump.

I still cannot get over the fact that whoever is left on her press team thought it was a good idea to let her lump those pieces of shit in with the two fallen officers.

The bottom of the pile.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

I think we need to care more about the fallen police officers before we start worrying about the emotions of some immigrant.

I have no problem with anything she said.

The families of all the people who died are suffering. These family members did nothing wrong. I don't see any problem with having sympathy for their pain.

This does not mean I like or respect Melania. She has done lots of things that I disagree with. But even though I doubt her sincerity I am not going to attack her for this message promoting unity.

She was asked by staff to try and get Trump to do something, anything, during the riot but instead declined to go back to her photoshoot.

To be fair they are all, like the Trump's themselves, completely unqualified for their jobs.  When you are as bad at things as the Trump's are you are equally bad at selecting people to work for you.  And if you accidentally strike gold with a good one they end up getting fired when they push back because they might know what they are doing.  Because NO ONE is better than a Trump.

I can't help but feel like my wife would be able to talk me out of inciting a riot if she really wanted to.

Your marriage probably isn't propped up by legal agreements that make your wife stay if she wants to be financially stable.

She did mention their families, but she also said her heart goes out to the individual criminals. And while families of criminals feel pain too, and they should not be judged for the actions of their criminal family members, there's still no reason to invoke sympathy for the criminal when referencing people who died as a result of the criminal.

Sadly, my wife's interest in making girl on girl porn is pretty much nil, as well.

Or allows for a body double to "escort you" when she doesn't want to be out, or be seen...or touch you. Mellow

Do you know the difference between a straight woman and a bi-sexual woman?

Two drinks.
Only users lose drugs.

Melania has refused to reach out to Jill Biden to invite her for a tour of the White House, a tradition that every First Lady has done since Bess Truman invited Mamie Eisenhower to the White House.

It seems like she decided to not "be best". What a pathetic family.

I'm old to remember when the GOP and the right wing noise machine spoke of the Trumps finally bringing "class" back to the white house.

I mean Michelle wore sleeveless dresses!  Obama wore a tan suit!  There were {gasp} RAPPERS in the oval office.

So I realize it is a complete waste of time to point how how utterly classless Donald and Melania are.

There was also this bit of info in another story about the snub:

https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/18/politics/trump-biden-inauguration-snub/index.html

Part 1 with the bold by me for emphasis.

Quote:The afternoon of Inauguration Day, then-President Biden will participate in a ceremonial wreath-laying at Arlington National Cemetery, joined by former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. It is during these hours the bulk of the Bidens' personal effects will be moved into the White House and unpacked, according to another source with knowledge of executive residence practices.

White House moving day packed with taxpayer-funded Covid-19 cleanings and shifting sports equipment

By that time, all Trump paraphernalia will be gone, and a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning of the entire White House campus will have been completed. Deeper cleaning protocols were arranged via the White House with outside contractors, on top of regular cleaning done by staff, including specialized attention to rugs, carpets, curtains and surfaces, to tackle any possibility of lingering germs, of the Covid-19 sort or otherwise.

"Moving furniture and vacuuming, cleaning baseboards, vacuuming drapes, wiping down shades, cleaning chandeliers, washing windows, high dusting," are areas all covered during the traditional move-in of a new president and his family, according to the residence source. "That cleaning will start as soon as Donald Trump and Melania Trump depart."

Part 2:

Quote:A particular focus of this move will be paid to the bedrooms in the residence, where new mattresses and box springs for the incoming first family are standard operating procedure, according to the source. Yet one part of the bedroom set-up will be markedly different with the Bidens than it was for the Trumps: the Bidens will be sharing a bedroom. Melania Trump spent the majority of her time in the White House in the large bedroom suite typically reserved for Presidents and their spouse, adjacent to the West Sitting Hall, according to a source with knowledge of the arrangement.

"Donald Trump slept in his own bedroom, which was previously a study or den during other administrations," the source said of the arrangement.

Well I'm a little disappointed Bpat.

Sounds to me like you are using this occasion solely to make yourself relevant and advance a social agenda.

U really don't care, do u?

Well, I am using this post to stand with the First Lady and agree that breaching Capitol building and threatening the lives of our Congressmen was disappointing, especially for the families of those who died in the process.

In these troubled times, all sides should come together as Americans and not attack the First Lady.
