LISTEN: Montco Police Radio Dispatches for Active Church Shooter[Image: WCAU_000000014960018_1200x675_672798787795.jpg]NBC10 has obtained the audio of police radio dispatches that went out in Montgomery County Sunday, April 24, 2016 for an active shooter situation after a gunman shot a man during a church service at Keystone Fellowship Church in Montgomeryville. Listen here. (Published 47 minutes ago)

Police said that they responded to Keystone Fellowship Church, on Stump Road just off Route 309 in Montgomeryville, shortly before 11:30 a.m. for reports of an "active shooter" at the church. The church, according to its website, has a weekly 11 a.m. service on Sundays.

The incident occurred in the sanctuary of the church while children and dozens of people were present, authorities later said. At least two dozen witnesses were taken to a local police station to give statements.

The male victim was taken to Lansdale Hospital, where he later died of his injuries, police said. The suspected shooter was taken into police custody.

Exact details surrounding what transpired inside the church were not immediately released.

The church released a statement in a Facebook post confirming the shooting.

"We at Keystone are saddened to confirm that a shooting took place at our Montgomeryville campus this morning," the statement read. "No one else was hurt...Our congregation is in prayer for everyone involved."

In an earlier post on the church's Facebook page, Keystone Fellowship announced a special guest pastor was scheduled to speak during its 11 a.m. service on Sunday about "serving in a country that is extremely hostile to the Christian faith."
"Please note: for our guest's safety, no photos or videotaping will be permitted," it added.

It's unclear if the incident was connected with the guest.

But I was saying that there was probably a connection between the shooting and the "special guest speaker".
