What do you think, what is Cadillac trying to say?

I think they just intended that for innovation and creativity.

I think when it comes to negotiating, foreign policy and politicking, it takes a stronger person to compromise than it takes to have an all or nothing stance.

They are selling an expensive car. They don't want you to compromise and get a less expensive car.
