I would love nothing more than a true conservative vs a socialist. Would be the most engaged campaign in history probably. Such a massive contrast.

Define "a true conservative".

Not the progressives we have been running. Progressives/neocon/establishment ... They are all the same . And exactly what the GOP runs and loses.

The worst way to define something is by saying  "not some other thing".

lol. You have to say "not" because so many people actually think people like Bush, Christie, Romney, Rubio, McCain, are actually conservatives. It's like democrats who think they are liberals. When they are really progressives or socialists.

How about adherence to the constituion and keep as small a gov as possible. Maximize individual freesoms,

Oh please.  You're the biggest troll on here.

As far as what a true Conservative is, you will get different answers from different Conservatives, same as if you asked Democrats what a true Democrat is.    In my opinion, a true Conservative believes in small government, low taxes, securing the borders, job creation, and the sanctity of life.

Clapping

Notice Lucie has no response; because before picking up the mantle of "constitutional conservative", he forgot to actually read the document.

Haha not quite. General Welfare is so subjective. And do we really need to get into how abused the commerce clause.
