Free Agent Targets to free up the draft
#1
Ok rather than do mock drafts I'd rather take a different approach. I think this is a very good draft class this year for some of our needs mainly OL/DL/WR so I'm gonna try to do a FA game plan to better attack the draft, BTW we have 28 free agents, so we can really upgrade the roster!

Re-Signs:

1) Kevin Huber-P- solid punter!
2) Carl Lawson-DE- starting to emerge, would be a huge loss to the D.
3) Mackenzie Alexander-SCB- solid tackler, would rather re-up him than WJ111
4) Mike Thomas-STWR- solid gunner for ST, last WR on bench
5) Brandon Allen-QB- average backup, would still draft QB, but way better than Finley
6) Brandon Wilson-S/KR- solid ST'er, need to bring back.
7) Jordan Evans-LB- nothing special, decent ST guy.
8) Clark Harris-LS- solid guy, getting older, may or may not be back if $$ is high.

Cuts: @ 21 million to be added to salary cap!

1) BJ Finney-3.5- too much $$ for non starter
2) M.Jordan-.975- has no confidence, not a gamer
3) G.Atkins- 9.5- too old, not worth the $$$ anymore, health is an issue now
4) R. Finley-1.05- not a backup QB at all!!!
5) B.Hart-5.9- need to move on and protect Burrow alot better!!

Free Agents:

1) Matt Feiler-G/RT (Steelers)- nice swing OL guy, probably start at RG

2) Taylor Moton-RT (Panthers)- young solid RT to protect Burrow for next 4/5 years!!

3) Gareon Conley-CB (Texans)- injured 2020, could be a nice buy-low candidate to have as #3 CB

4) Josh Reynolds-WR (Rams)- #4 WR, adds to the depth, still allows us to draft one day 1-2.

--these 4 FA's should be right @ 21-25 million total and should be covered with the cut players.

Draft Needs:

1) DE/DT (2)
2) G
3) CB
4) WR
5) TE
6) K
7) S/LB

-1-4 to me are priorities, 5-7 are merely depth/backup guys except for Kicker! which someone is always available.
