The kicker made a huge kick when the team asked him to near the end of the game

Hits a 52 yarder in this game to tie it up and hits a 55 harder in the playoffs at the gun.

I trust him more than McManus and the boneheads on this board...

That was pure luck.

Mike Nugent is 11-14 when it comes to kicks that are 40+ this year. And yes, that includes 50+ ones. He has had some clutch kicks this year. I mean, made a clutch kick against the Seahawks twice. Clutch kick against the Cardinals. And a clutch kick near the end of the game tonight.

So stop it.

Cost us home field last year on a chip shot at home - if he makes a 40 yard tonight we're a 2 seed right now.

No it didn't? That Panthers game had zero to do with how the season played out. Steelers swept us. Therefore even if we win that game, we're 10-6 with them.

Well at least he was 50%. What else could you ask for?

Hey at least Neil Rackers still holds the record for most 50+ yarders made in a game

I wish Doug Pelfrey was here he wasn't the greatest but he never had a chance to play in meaningful games

Then he could have been 66%.

Breech hit the only ones that mattered for the Bengals and he was 5' 6" with a size 6 shoe.

Hey Beaker, sounds like you like losing...keep defending a bad loss. Losing is acceptable, got it.

I'm more concerned about the punts that could have been downed inside the 5. Huber hit them pretty good, one of them could have led to a TO or at least a Bengal FG.

Actually Shayne was pretty accurate but he cost us the playoffs in 06 and needed to go. I wish kickers didn't go through funks at the worst possible times for us

Sorry I dont feel like jumping off the bridge with the rest of the Nancys. My team is 11-4, won the division, and will be in the playoffs. If anyone had offered that to any one of the people crying tonight about how the season is over you would have jumped at it. I prefer to look at our possible ascension from this point, not predict our demise. I am realistic enough to realize you don't win them all. And given our situation.....going into denver, against the number 1 D, with our backup QB starting, and our starting TE and starting S out, and taking them to OT...I think they acquitted themselves respectfully. I would have preferred the win, but the loss doesn't make me cry or doubt them going forward.

Any possibility of losing Hue early, also? Would be huge.

Hello Canton.

Plus, that's all the Broncos needed, right?

Jackson?

No. Coaches can not be interviewed while their season is still going.

You do realize if Nugent would have made his FG, the Bronco kicker would not have gotten another chance don't you?
