Paul Brown

When I'm not working or studying physics I've been looking into the life of Paul Brown because he's the founder of our favorite team, the Cincinnati Bengals.  This video makes me tear up a little because the Bengals are getting further away from his vision for the team.

Fun fact: Art Modell fired both Paul Brown and Bill Belichick in Cleveland.

Does it mention the part where, out of ego, he didn't choose Bill Walsh to take over coaching the team and recommended Homer Rice instead????

Had he chosen Walsh, like he should have, this franchise would be considered one of the All-time best.

Actually he chose Bill Johnson, because as every football fan knows, defense wins championships. Truth is he promised the job to both men (named Bill) figuring one or the other would be hired away before he was ready to give it up. But, your point is well taken.
