Those Mixon numbers…

No wonder he was the happiest player on the team when we brought Pollack back.

We got Hubbard on a steal of a deal with him signing in August!

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

What’s the franchise record for rushing TD’s in a single season? I believe Ickey Woods with 15? Mixon has a pretty good shot at breaking that. Even before the extra game.

Yeah, 4 in the next 5 games? I would say if he does hit that mark, he will 100% do it before the extra game, especially with the current pace he's on.

The receiver numbers are great; essentially a 1,400+, 900-1,000 and 800+ receiver trio, with a bit more-favourable expectations than the projection.

Even in a past-first league, incredible.

I said this same thing... Everyone has been shitting on Pollack too.. There is something said to the changes he made being the run game coordinator.. It's obviously clicking...

This is the Back they paid for... 100%... Like a lot of backs. The more he gets going, the harder he is to stop... His confidence has to be at an all time high. He's always all smiles now.. No more moping on the sidelines...

I should point out that Mixon's TDs listed at 13 is combined rushing + receiving.
He's "only" at 11 rushing TDs, which is currently 8th best single-season.
Ickey's 15 is currently the highest.

The other six are:
Pete Johnson - 14 (1979, 1983)
Rudi Johnson - 12 (2004-2006)
Pete Johnson - 12 (1981)

So if Mixon keeps his current pace, he'd break the single-season rushing TD record.

Yeah, I knew he was at 11. 5 TD’s in 5 games is pretty doable the way he’s playing right now. And that’s just to break the record in 16 games. Ofc he really has 6 games left to do it though.

We could end up seeing record setting seasons from Burrow, Mixon, Chase, and Hendrickson.

The following records could be broken if the above hit their pace:

Single season passing yards (4293 by Dalton, 2013)
Single season passing TDs (33 by Dalton, 2013)
Single season rushing TDs (15 by Ickey Woods, 1988)
Single season sacks (13.5 by Dunlap, 2015)

The single season rushing yards and receiving yards records could also be close, but the pace for Mixon and Chase are currently slightly below the current records:
1440 receiving yards - Chad, 2007
1458 rushing yards - Rudi, 2005
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins

Hendrickson should also break Dunlap’s sack record of 13.5. Probably not Coy Bacon’s unofficial record though.

Nah, it’s mostly just been one guy (who has an ulterior motive) from what I’ve seen. It’s the same reason he hates on a certain other player so much.

For me personally, I don't think anybody could get more out of Mixon and this Oline than what Pollack is doing now...

Bill Callahan might be able to, but Pollack is doing a pretty good job.
If RG can get solidified between Adeniji and Carman then get both Spain and Reiff re-signed, this offseason could be primed to go after a new C either in FA (Jason Kelce my preference) or draft (Linderbaum).

It's 10.8 technically, so I put 10 since I don't like to round up.

That's a pretty severe round down...a whole game out of six for just .2

But the projection does not get to the number, so you can't say it's projected to happen.
However, you can say that 10 is safely projected.

How are you doing your projection? Pythagorean record has Cincinnati on pace for 11.51 wins.
