Packers Show QB Under Center Hard To Defend
#1
Dallas has a pretty good Defense, but they look foolish against Packers. TV announcers just said it. Packers have QB Love under center every play and Dallas Defense has no clue if a run or a pass coming. That indeed is the problem with the shotgun, especially the open backfield shotgun in which Dallas can just blitz the QB. Now Bengals beat 49ers in 2023 with Burrow under center much of the game. I'm glad Packers are clobbering Cowboys in Dallas in Play-Offs 48 to 16, because maybe Bengals can learn from this. Paul Brown and Bill Walsh had an offense where Defenses didn't know if a Run or a Pass was coming. As TV announcers said when Bengals beat 49ers this year, Burrow under center was opening up so many more possible plays. The plays you can run out of Shotgun are limited. So glad to see Green Bay Packers show that a QB under center all game can make a good defense look foolish. The Run formation looks like the pass formation and Dallas completely confused. Packers showing Old School Football is still very hard to defend. I'm loving watching QB under center better than shotgun in this Play-Off game.

At one time, under center was the only play until the shotgun was invented. Old school sometimes works the best.

Dallas who has a good defense had no idea if Packers were going to run or pass, Dallas got burned so bad because Packers formations do not give a clue to what play is coming.

The problem with The Mouse Offense aka The Shotgun is there are few running plays out of it. So it doesn't fool defenses the way so called Old School by Packers faked Cowboys out of their shoes all game.

The NFL is very copy cat, and other teams will take notice of what is winning games for Packers.
