Of course. But we pose a different threat to them. We can run and pass . Hill now warming up only makes us more dangerous

Two Clubs

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
Best net points in common games.
Best net points in all games.
Best net touchdowns in all games.
Coin toss

It would be a 3 way tie not two.

I mispoke earlier in the thread. A NE loss today puts the Bengals in the 1 seed for now, even if Denver wins as well. This is because the Bengals are 8-1 in the AFC as opposed to 7-1 for NE, so the Bengals have a higher win % (.889 over .875).

If Bradford doesn't go out and win this game, eagles are gonna lose.

Too bad if Pats lose and Broncos win it will be a three way tie........ you need the second part to the tiebreaker rules.

Two Clubs

  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.

  5. Strength of victory.
  6. Strength of schedule.
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.
  11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
  12. Coin toss
Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).
  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory.
  6. Strength of schedule.
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.

Keep in mind the key wording of "for now".  If NE wins out following a loss today, that will make a tie in conference win % at season's end, thus we will go to a different tie breaker.  But as of now, home field will be in the Jungle.

Conference record is the 4th tie breaker

I'm just glad Eagles are taking care of business.

And w/ all the tie breaker talk... Patriots look like they have at least another loss in them.

Denver starts a stretch of teams that are desperate. Raiders and steelers . Before they play us.

Pats still have Texans next week and the jets later .... Both are desperate.

I can't wait until the excuses are made for NE injuries if they don't win a playoff game. "They" will say "just too many injuries to overcome" and give them a pass. Unlike us last year. Anyway, they were the only team standing in our way it's SB or bust now.
