(Preseason Week 1) ***Cardinals @ Bengals- GameDay Thread***
You’re gonna have to bring back Spain if Jackson Carmen is looking as bad as Adeniji was last season

I haven’t heard much about Volson this camp though

The way these refs have been calling stuff I wouldn't be too sure it was legit.

It’s sad. I don’t see him being in the league in f he doesn’t catch on this year. He’s deceptively old already. He’s probably been around this long due to his dad and playing with Burrow in college

Cut Moss at Halftime. No athletic ability and can’t block. Holding on because of his name. He has screwed two big plays because he can’t keep those hands inside.

Browning has a gun on him.. He can zip it..

He isn't actually. The really bad players have been Prince and Adeniji. Hill at Center is also struggling.

IMO Spain is a better olineman than any Bengal currently on the field.

Yeah I don't like how Volson is the competition. If Carman continues to struggle this preseason I hope they make something happen and get another OL guy in here before the season.

Nope.

I got down on Carman when he had the personal discipline issues (weight and lack of prep) but I am not going to perp walk him because others don't like him. The big culprits up front tonight are RT, LT and C.

He played well against the Texans in 2020 (week 16).

I’d have Spain on the phone yesterday. We are likely going to be seeing some backup lineman this year as all 5 lineman lasting all season isn’t very likely

Just tackle the points being made, Frank. No need to attack the poster.

One REALLY iffy flag and one play a board poster claimed he was on skates. He's looked "okay". Nothing really good but not a disaster.

Wow, the refs on conference actually remembered both players have a right to the ball...

Now, will the refs let our offense play and will they bench Moss? Or alternately will Moss stop with the dumb holds?

Agreed. The sack Allen ran into was not because of Carman. The holding calls have been weak.

Had enough of watching Carman. This series I will focus on Volson. I really hope somebody on this team besides Cappa can play guard.
