This is a bottom 5 group, easily. Bad depth, average at best starter, and a RBBC candidate that will have to take a big step up in terms of workload and responsibilities.

It's an unproven group; So I rated then in the late 3rd teir.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Easily our worst position group now that we’ve added some nice pieces at TE and OL.

I voted 20 to 26 and hope is 13-19.

Just too many questions. I will start with our OL because without great run blocking, only the elite RB's can overcome it. I hope our OL blocks better for the run in 2024, but until they do, I am skeptical.

As for the RB room, I like Chase Brown a lot, but again he is not proven. I like our 1A and 1B potential, but feel we need a goal line back not yet on the roster. Kareem Hunt is a TD machine and great 3rd down back. I would love to see us add him to the mix.

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

There is potential, but nothing proven.

Hopefully the passing threat makes them look better than they really are.

Arguably bottom 5, not definitive and definitely not easy. Some of these RB rooms are atrocious.

The bottom 10, in whatever order you want.
Arizona
Carolina
Cincinnati
Dallas
Denver
Houston
Chargers
Raiders
Saints
Giants

Ari-Connor has 5 700+ yard seasons to Moss's 1, plus topped 1k yards last year at 5 YPC.  Benson was RB1 or 2 in the draft.

Car-Miles Sanders had a down year last year, but had 1200+ yards, double digit TD's, and a 4.9 ypc the previous year.

DEN-Williams had 900+ yards when healthy as a rookie.  Perine is more proven than Brown.  McLaughlin averaged 5.4 YPC last year.

Hou-Mixon, for all his faults, is a proven 1k bellcow.  Pierce had 900+ yards as the feature back as a rookie.

LAC-Edwards has had 4 700+ yard seasons to 1 for Moss.  Dobbins can be a 1k back if healthy.

NOS-Kamara is an elite receiving back and Williams is a year removed from a 1k yard season where he led the league in rushing TD's.

Moss has had one decent year and Brown a handful of impressive plays.  Williams is a liability as a position player and Evans makes exactly one play a year.

You sure are giving a lot of benefit of the doubt to a lot of just guys. Kamara and Williams both were awful last year. Go look at advanced metrics, don’t be surprised if their 3rd back usurps both of them.

Dobbins has never been healthy… we talk about tees availability here… but dobbins is on another level. I’d wager a lot of money with you that dobbins will never have another 1k yard season. Gus Edward’s has been in the league a few years longer and he is ok, but you can’t tell me he is “easily” better.

We got rid of Mixon for moss. That tells me everything I need to know about how the bengals feel about that. Pierce averaged under 3 yards per carry last year and lost his job to Devin Singletary. Yea…

Since his injury, Javonte Williams plummeted in YPC to 3.7. Maybe he is bettter having more time from ACL, but not everyone is Adrian Peterson. Perine is just a guy, you know that.

Miles sanders looked great behind the eagles OL, so does everyone (see swift). He isn’t even slated to be their RB1

James Conner is up there in age and again, just a guy.

I’m not saying that our backfield is even average, but they are not “easily” a top 5 bad RB room. They can arguably be one, which is why we are having the conversation.

Even with Chubb coming off the nasty injury?

Packers are looking good with Jacobs and Dillon.

Bottom five group lack of experience and total production we have less than 3,000 combined yards with this group, Mixon had more combined TDs in one season than this group has had together, positive side is a young group with a light canvas of work so could surprise us doing the season and the potential to bring in a possible power back after some roster cuts would enhance this group

I want to step out on a limb and say middle of the pack but that's hoping, a lot. I went 20-26

Chase Brown has potential but it's unproven. Moss I think will be steady but he's probably at best middle of the road. Evans and Williams I have near zero faith in and the rookies ???

Like has been said probably our weakest position group until proven otherwise.

I voted 20-26. The running game as a whole should be much better this year with Zack Moss who is a much better runner out of
the Shotgun than Mixon is. Chase Brown is extremely explosive when he gets a hole, but went down far too easily last season in
my opinion and that is why I wanted us to Draft a RB that is hard to tackle.

Thankfully Moss is harder to tackle than Mixon who went down if a blade of grass touched his foot.

Yeah, that is why the All pick made me shake my head so badly at the time. Loved all these RB's and any one of them would of improved
our RB room big time. All could be a great TE if he can stay healthy though, reminds me of a much faster Gresham honestly. Hard to tackle.
