Well, it probably explains why he is not at OTA's if he has a torn labrum and hamstring.... I just don't see any way he is going to start over Miller anyway.

hes not likely to make the team as more than a backup

and that's in doubt too with this.

and if he cant practice might as well part ways

The injury might keep him from practice, the suspension does not....

It was a longshot for him to make it anyway. Not the best way to impress the new coaching staff.

Well, well, well.....so now we know the rest of the story.

Even more reason for him to be at OTA's. Even if his rehabbing injuries keep him from participating in practice he should still be there for meetings and observation. If the labrum required a surgical repair we are looking at a minimum of 12 weeks but more like 6 months for a lineman.

He first showed up on the injury report in Oct. It might explain why he never improved his play throughout the season. But it is also worth noting that the coaches never brought up injuries as a potential excuse for his play. It also says something about his backups, including Westerman, that they couldn't outplay a one-armed guard.

Just another reason why i am glad we Drafted Jordan. With Miller, Jordan and now Glenn playing LG Redmond could be out of here.

Too bad the guy just couldn't get the mental side of the game down, this is why you draft smart players.

Probably one of the "new" PEDs. Guys trying to get better by taking banned substances. Crappy way to go out... trying so hard to get better, you get eliminated.

If he wasn't going to heal by camp anyway, he was probably going to get cut. His performance last year didn't bode very well for his future. He gambled and lost but he had to try something to make him better.

for the excuse to cut you
Today I'm TEAM SEWELL. Tomorrow TEAM PITTS. Maybe TEAM CHASE. I can't decide, and glad I don't have to.

Seems like the kid tried to take a short cut in healing. I wish him the best. No reason to cut him. He won't cost us a roster spot or salary for the first 4 games. If RG is settled by then, we cut him; if not he might be something if fully healthy.
