What Weekend Should I Go To Vegas?!
#1
Thinking about going out to Vegas to catch a weekend of football with my friend who's an amazing sports gambler. I obviously need to wait until I get a bunch of my public "speaking" gigs lined-up to make sure that I'm not out there when I have one scheduled, and then there's this stem cell deal which should happen in the next month or even in the next few weeks, but who knows if I'll need to stay out there for observations or go back out there.

Let's just ignore that, though, for right now.

What would need consideration is I'm going to the home opener against the Ravens, the Thursday night game against the Texans (but that's irrelevant because I wouldn't be out there on a Thursday anyways), and then the week 13 game against the Steelers on Monday night (which might not matter, either, because we might fly out on Saturday and come back Monday morning because most people don't like being in Vegas for that long. I probably wouldn't want to be that tired for the game, and I'm one of the few people who would like to be in Vegas that long).

Planning on sitting in a sportsbook for a lot of Saturday and Sunday and just betting on games, so what would be a good weekend of NCAA and NFL games to do so?

Week 12 of the NFL (week 13 of NCAA) looks pretty solid, which would also be good I most likely wouldn't have too many presentations that close to Christmas break and it would also be starting to cold in Greater Cincinnati, so the hot weather would be a nice change-up.

I know that a lot of these are at the same time, but there's a bunch of TVs, so it's all the better.

Here's some noteworthy games:

SATURDAY NCAA GAMES
Ohio State-Michigan......... the game I always dreamed about playing in growing up....... 'nough said.
Florida State-Florida. Always a good game and both teams should be ranked in the top 20 with FSU being top 3.
Oklahoma-West Virginia. Two top 25 teams.
Penn State-Maryland. Penn's top 10 and Maryland's not bad.
Stanford-Notre Dame. Stanford's top 15 and the Irish are just outside the top 25.
Clemson-South Carolina. Clemson's top 5 and South Carolina's top 25.
Alabama-Auburn. Number 1 team against the 13th ranked team.

I'm sure there's more, but even just those make going out for Saturday's games worth it ThumbsUp

SUNDAY'S NFL GAMES
1:00 Cleveland@Cincinnati- not a preferred game, but be nice to see a beat-down on the Browns from Vegas.
1:00 Bucs@Falcons- should be a good game to watch.
4:25 Broncos@Raiders- should be a good game and I'm loving Carr and Lynch.
8:30 Packers@Steelers. This Sunday night game should be a great game to watch.

Can anyone think of a better weekend to go out there?

I hope you enjoy the trip. Don't be upset if you lose all your money. It will probably happen. I know, I'm a compulsive gambler and quit a while back.
Get ready for next year!  Tiger

That would SUCK because it would be packed and there would only be one game.
