Roster update
#1
CB Greg Mabin who was just signed on Tuesday has been promoted off the practice squad. G Keaton Sutherland was waived. I would expect him to return to the PS tomorrow. Look for BW Webb (arm) not to play again on Monday and OG Michael Jordan to be active

Fueled by the pursuit of greatness.

Of course, he's a scrap heap guy.. But, he played in 13 games last season. So, it's not like he's never been on an NFL field before.

He may have been a tough cut for the 49ers, as he was with them for 2 seasons.

On the other hand, he might be unemployed again, next week at this time. Who knows?

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

This is pretty much the exact type of guy any other team in the leaguye would sign at this point.

The real question is... does he know how to celebrate in the endzone after a Touch down? Excited

He didn't come from a bottom of the barrel Giants or Tampa D.

Baby steps.

Webb not playing Monday? I didn’t know he played the last 3 weeks. Hopefully someone will cut an offensive linemen off their practice squad soon so we have another hidden gem

This guy's probably nothing, but none of you comedians ever heard of Wallace Gilberry either, and he came and produced.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

True.

Remember; James Harrison got cut by two teams before becoming a monster.

I'm not getting my hopes up.  He appears to be more of a STer.

Wiry cornerback playing opposite Desmond King was picked on frequently by opponents and struggled to rise to the occasion. Flashes some potential at times, but his lack of recovery speed and lack of coverage versatility could limit his opportunities to make a roster.
