Supreme Court Rules DOJ was wrong prosecuting Jan. 6 protestors
#1
The SC ruled on the Jan.6 case. They said DOJ should not have prosecuted protestors. This also impacts the D.C. against Trump; it likely gets that case tossed.

Those who plead guilty can't appeal. It is my understanding anyone convicted, the case will be overturned.

The bad news continues for liberals this week.

For clarity SCOTUS certainly did not "[say] DOJ should not have prosecuted protestors". SCOTUS ruled that January 6 protestors cannot be prosecuted with the most serious charge filed, felony obstruction of an official proceeding. This applies to around 330 of the more than 1,200 people charged with crimes during January 6. Most guilty pleas have been for assaulting law enforcement officers or carrying dangerous weapons.

Time will tell. But the point is the DOJ acted unlawfully according to the SC on some of the charges.

Garland has one system of justice for conservatives (Jan. 6), but a different standard for liberals blocking a Jewish synagogue in LA which is against the law. The DOJ has ignored thus far.

Biden's and Democrats DOJ has 2 tiers of justice, it is obvious.
