No idea exactly on how many or which comp picks we will get, but we should get at least two. So I'm going to predict a third and fourth.
If we don't get a third, I'd swap out Beckwith for Coley as the normal third and take an ILB with a later comp pick.
1: Pat Elflein, C/OG Ohio St - Whether it's Elflein or Pocic, the Bengals need a true dominant C/OG that can get great push in the run game and be solid in pass protection. Bodine is still the glaring weakness and a replacement needs to be drafted. Both Elflein and Pocic can also play OG and should excel at any interior OL spot.
2: Sam Hubbard, DE Ohio St - Hubbard is entering only his second year of playing DE, as he came out of high school as a 6'6" safety. He committed to the conversion to DE by shadowing Joey Bosa and has packed on a ton of muscle. He's a second rounder that has the ideal size the Bengals covet, fits a power scheme, and only two years of experience to stay out of the first round. He had 6.5 sacks last year as second fiddle to Bosa, but is expected to exceed all his totals from last year with Bosa now gone.
3: Kendell Beckwith, ILB LSU - Beckwith is a traditional style ILB, which the Bengals has shown to like. Beckwith can play the run very well, is patient, can cover RBs and TEs, and is a tackling machine. He would be a great candidate to replace Maualuga on the roster.
3comp: Stacy Coley, WR/RS Miami - Coley has the size, speed, and hands to be that outside stretch-the-field WR that will complement Green and Boyd well. He is also a good return specialist, which is a bonus.
4: Jeremy Sprinkle, TE Arkansas - Sprinkle has a nice combination of size and hands, plus he has blocked for a good rushing offense at Arkansas. He's expected to exceed his 2015 numbers with Hunter Henry now in the NFL.
4comp: Paul Magloire Jr, OLB/SS Arizona - Magloire Jr. is a converted safety who could play a nickel LB role for the Bengals, as I would expect Vigil to take on more of a full-time LB role after Dansby departs. Magloire not only has coverage ability but is also a ST demon, which Bengals coaches covet.
5: Fabian Moreau, CB UCLA - Moreau has been a PBU machine, he really just needs to work to try and cause more turnovers. He's got good measurables and is worth an add as a backup CB.
6: Gunner Kiel, QB Cincinnati - If Kiel would have been the starter for UC for this year, I would have said he's a mid-round selection. He has the measurables and has put up good numbers against some good competition at times. However, he needs time to develop. As a third QB or PS, he can learn for a year or two then compete for backup behind Dalton.
7: Leon Allen, RB WKU - Similar to Antonio Andrews, Allen is a big back but elusive for his size, can catch, and pass protect. Good candidate to be a depth RB.
