Should SCOTUS speak on POTUS?

I have zero issue with elected officials speaking about candidates. I just thought it was inappropriate for a sitting Justice to do so. WTS, I would prefer the sitting POTUS simply endorse and support a candidate; not slur another.

I agree that both are wrong.

Yup. It's why I would rather see a change in how the Supreme Court vacancies are filled. Not sure a vote by the general public is the solution, but I think SOMETHING needs to change. And at this point, what could it hurt? The SCOTUS is already politicized. Maybe if it's just a general vote whenever there's a vacancy. Once on the SC, a Justice is there for life. So elections would only be held every so often.

I don't know. Personally, I wish the SC was NOT politicized, but this is the world we live in now: everything including memorial services is politicized.
