So Where Are You and What Will This Storm Mean to You?

LOL, I've been to Kettering numerous times and I've yet to see any pros walking the street.  Besides, if I were in need of that sort of service, I believe I'd save my dough and spring for one of them fancy Oakwood escorts.

That's Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati weather for ya.

Below zero and lots of snow today and then by Monday it could be sunny and in the 70s.

We just hit our "high" for the day at -3 (-11 with windchill). It's another level of cold! I even had to shovel the driveway. Usually, the sun is intense enough at the higher altitude (about 6,200') that it melts the snow on my west-facing driveway, but not when it's this cold.

The most amazing thing was how fast the temps plummeted. Yesterday it went from 45 to 5 in about 90 minutes right around dinner time. And then just kept dropping all night.

Stay warm!

This shit is cold. I just moved to Denver after 20 years in Dallas and I’m not sure I’ll last real long.

On this ohio storm I saw there was a huge pile up that caused some loss of life. Very sad, hope y’all are staying safe

Yeah, on the turnpike an accident caused 50-car pileup and resulted in a fatality.  They lined up busses so motorists could get out of their vehicles but have a warm refuge.

The Oakwood Escorts.... that would make a darn good name for their sports teams!

We are struggling here. Had to break out the heavy winter coats when it went below 50 last night. And it is only supposed to reach 69 tomorrow!!!

Meh, when I look out the window at Christmas time I'd prefer to see snow instead of a scorpion nest.  To each his own, though.

Scorps are underrated as pets, IMO. Wink

Start driving with bald tires and a shitty battery. It'll snow like hell the rest of the winter guaranteed or your frostbitten fingers back.  ThumbsUp
Of all the places I've ever been stuck in freezing cold Cincinnati was always the worst and I've hitch hiked across the northern US in blizzards a few times. Never prepared me for freezing half to death out on I-75 at night standing out on a 20 foot pile of ice and snow in below zero weather..wearing a black coat even.. That was before the internet and cell phones to get instant weather forecasts..  Mellow
