Stanley Morgan not Tendered
#1
Hopefully they can resign him but this seems like a unnecessary risk to losing your best Special teamer.teams. personally would have put a 2nd rd tender on him.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

They seemed to be high on him. This early negotiation period probably hurts these end of roster players because they now have an idea (acting like they didn't before) of his worth and or interests.

Before (ideally) they wouldn't know and would have to tender to protect themselves from losing them.

I value Morgan's ST contributions, but I'd like our WR depth to have a couple guys who can actually get open. And fill in if one of the top 3 is out.

Morgan is a end of the roster/PS player and that's it. He's easily replaceable it's not even worth getting upset about.

I keep seeing these right of first refusal tenders, which I think is the lowest we could have given him, and it's $2.4 million....

We have work to do on our WR depth chart. Would love to have Morgan back. But damn. Our ST coach is supposedly top tier in the league. I think it was Flowers gunning for the first time last year who made a big tackle or two.

They have to make room for the new guys drafted. Roster wise.Don’t know how many years he’s played but there’s a scale. It maybe that scale that doomed him.

He's our best special teamer and He was getting play time as a run blocker. Saying he is just a PS squad player shows how little you know about this team.

He is not easily replaceable and he is an elite special team player

He's very easily replaceable. And a good ST but not ELITE at anything. SO many of you guys overvalue some of our players it is so ridiculous. ONly a few of you would get on here and complain about not tendering a bottom of the roster/PS player. Hilarious Hilarious

I know as much about this team as MANY on here. And obviously the FO knows MORE than we do. And they felt it wasn't worth tendering him. Wanna complain to someone complain to them.

The front office is hoping that they can resign. Morgan at a cheaper price. It's business

I know it's a business. And that's why if he doesn't return people shouldn't be to worried about it.

I feel bad for the guy. Morgan's hopes of adding the prestigious Golden Binns Award to his trophy case have been snuffed out before they ever really got going.

He's a good ST's guy, but utter garbage as a WR.  The guy has only caught 5 of 14 career targets for 29 yards.  Hard to hang onto a guy who is a liability as a position player.

They like him for special teams and he's a good blocker

Well if they don't resign him, I think they'll go with Michael Thomas in the same role. But I think Morgan was better and I think burrow liked him
