Stirring up the masses
#1
Just another example of how "news sites" stir up the base with false headlines/clickbait.

Nothing new, but this one entertained me.   Smirk

First...the link from Drudge:

Which leads to the "story":

Quote:FRIGHTENING! Red Laser Dots Float on President Trump’s Chest and Face During White House Speech (VIDEO)

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump lit the official White House Christmas Tree on Wednesday night during a live broadcast.

During the president’s speech red laser dots started popping up on his chest and face.

Here’s another shot of the laser dot on the president’s shoulder.

If this was part of the show it was a very irresponsible laser light display.

One viewer says this was a reflection in the bullet proof glass on the president. It may have been emitted from cameras using red-eye reduction(?)

And here’s the video.

And then the comments...oh the comments.  lol

Anyway...fluff.  But fluff that passes as "news" to stir up the Trump supporters.

I think it’s a little more nefarious than clickbait or its naivety on the organizations part, based on the fact the vast majority (70-80%) of consumers of news, only read headlines.

So, if they know that, then they are making headlines intentionally misleading, counting on people not to read the story that debunks it’s own headline.

Trump claims it was just "His Star in the East" shining down on him.
