I have always said it makes more sense for the NFL to expand to Mexico City and Canada instead of Europe. The travel would be so much simpler.

And Mexico City is not Mogadishu. There is a large thriving community of wealthy people who live there. Millions of wealthy Americans vacation at coastal resorts in Mexico without getting abducted. I am sure it is safe enough for an NFL team.

Agreed. You want to be an international game? Then put a team in Toronto and one in Mexico City.
