The Houston Texans have released 2013 2nd round Pick Safety D.J. Swearinger.

He started 22 of 36 games in his two seasons and apparently ranked 78th out of 87 eligible Safeties last season.

The Buccaneers subsequently signed him.

I think Swearinger is going to be a starter for the Bucs over Conte and Major Wright.
