Snarking + Weaseling = Weasel Shark

Did you know that the Weasel Shark feeds primarily on octopuses and other invertebrates ?

Never called every person that flees the country a coward.

There comes a point when you realize your point has been made but not conceded when that the only counters folks can make are to counter things you did not say. This thread has been like that for the last couple pages. I'm gonna let you guys go.

You made a point about "cowards", sure. And then it was made clear to you that options like "fighting for one's country" and "rendering assistance" are not effective options for many military age men in a broken country where the fighting factions either impress such men into their organizations as canon fodder or torture and kill them.

You would know this if you read accounts of why able bodied men do not stay to fight or render assistance. You would also know that sending a son to get established in a foreign country to then bring the family is also a commonly chosen option.  You have never explained where you got your information about the choices of Syrian refugees.  Without that it appears you are just guessing as to their motives and about the situation in Syria, like these guys are just WW 2 war draft resistors fleeing to Canada.

No one is "countering things said with things not said."  People are just trying to explain that you are viewing refugees through a very simplistic filter and rejecting any widening of the filter. Rather than address that, you leave.

Of course someone that abandons their country and those that cannot fend for themselves in the time of civil war are cowards. You and others can paint them as more noble, but...

Who should they throw their lives away for? The ***** leader who will kill them for wrongthink or the plethora of islamic fundamentalist groups funded by foreigners?
