This day in history
#1
Actually, yesterday, June 20th.   Smirk

I do a daily joke for another page and sometimes I run across things I (and maybe only I) find interesting.

Quote:1983 - The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that employers must treat male and female workers equally in providing health benefits for their spouses.

1) It took until 1983?

2) It took the Supreme Court to make employers do it?

3) Employers are still trying to not do it to this day.

Sad.

yeah the job i worked at before i switched companies, had multiple hoops and stipulations on what the spouse had to meet before they were given health insurance (the place i was at had a better plan than what the wife had at the time)
