I've heard everybody has them which is the first step on a slippery slope to socialism.  Next you'll want me to pay for other people to have healthcare for the elderly, unpolluted drinking water, roads, food inspections, regulated medicines, food for poor kids and mothers, etc.  The free market or charity will take care of all that stuff.

That's the kinda PC culture which led to this year's Kentucky Derby results.  No, thank you.

Why do we park on driveways and drive on parkways?

My daughter took my wife to get a puppy today as a surprise for mothers day.
They are gone for a long while and I'm wondering what they are doing.
We've always had medium sized to big sized dogs and my wife has always wanted a "Lap Dog".
I find out that they went to multiple places looking for that one special dog that my wife would enjoy.

When they get home, to my surprise they walk in with a full blooded, registered Golden Retriever who's parents are both Show Dogs with papers and registry and everything needed for this dog to be a show dog.

I didn't even ask how much it costs and I don't care, my daughter paid for it.

My thought is

When it comes my turn for that special gift, it better be a 69 Camaro SS restomod with a 502 and twin turbos pumping out 1100hp to the wheels. I wants my show dog too you know?

Because of career politicians.

The founding fathers never intended for us to drive on parkways.  But what can you expect today when kids graduate from our public schools actually believing that the United States is a "democracy".

If I start paying for the elderly to receive healthcare it will take away all their incentive to work and pay for those expensive brand name drugs manufactured by the pharmaceutical companies I've invested in.
