#1
Another Republican candidate has bitten the dust. SC Senator Tim Scott has suspended his campaign for President. His once promising campaign crashed and burned after the first debate. Scott has not offered an endorsement

Wondering if there was some dirt discovered on him and decided to get out? On the radio this morning, they reported some people close to him in his campaign didn't know he was going to drop out.

If after months of campaigning you are polling less than 5% Nationally, there is no road to win. Why keep wasting money his donors can throw to others who have a shot. Christie should be next, he should have never started. He had and has zero chance of winning.

Right now is a race to second between Haley and DeSantis. Vivek is running for 2028 or 2032.

It is Trump's race to win, only shot Haley or Ron have is if Trump decides to drop out of the race.

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

He's a lifelong bachelor like Lindsey Graham or the guy who played Mr Belvidere.  Right or wrong, being a man who is 58 and has never been married puts weird vibes in a lot of people's minds.

Vivek is more built to go down the libertarian weirdo firebrand route. The GOP rallying behind a non christian minority with legit ties to George Soros is unfathomable.

It's expensive to campaign when you're only polling at 2%.

It is not necessarily just the lifelong bachelor thing. It is the life long bachelor thing coupled with never being in a public relationship with anyone

As I said right or wrong our society is weirded out by people who were never married.  I can't imagine a bachelor president or a president without kids.  It just doesn't fit the nuclear family template people cling to.

I don't even think anyone but Trump could get away with not having a pet in the white house.

I think the reason the President is scrutinized at that level is because of spousal privilege. It's the only relationship that is coded into law regarding secrecy. Could you imagine a president is single, so there is no first lady, and he just has girlfriends coming to the white house periodically to visit him? Seems like a fairly large security risk if she were to overhear anything or, in some cases, told something by the President, she is not lawfully tied to the presidency in any way.

As opposed to a president who tells this stuff to everyone from Kid Rock to miscellaneous foreign nationals?

I didn't think a "Christian Nation" would ever elect a 3X divorced man who had many affairs and even paid a porn star off.  Let alone one who was a narcissist that had no self-control or willingness to learn because he's convinced he knows more than everyone all the time.

But her emails.

You seem a bit too liberal to ignore that amount of straight white male privilege, so I call BS
