Time to move on
#1
We have new coaches. We have free agency coming up, then the draft. It's time to replace the meltdown grieving with determination to succeed in '16. That appears to be what the team is doing, and for those picking through the lists of potential new players, I say 'good on ya'.

Respectful discourse is being pushed aside with bickering and flat-out rudeness in some cases. Time to lead by example. Lets move on and fix what went wrong. Drama be gone!

As much as I've always tried to believe otherwise, regretfully I have concluded that nothing I do has any effect on the teams for which I cheer.

So if it's agreed my mental disposition has no outcome on the team, I think I'll stay angry a little longer.

Maybe we don't have any impact on the team, but harboring negative thoughts could affect your own well-being. A point to consider.

For me, it's more fun to build something than to tear something down.

That is exactly what someone who is happy with mediocrity would say.

People who expect more will cry and squeal all offseason.

idk man i loved taking a sledgehammer to stuff... but hammer and nails nah...

but interestingly enough we lost coaches but now have the most experienced staff under marvins tenure here...

If thats for the best or not will remain to be seen.

I agree let's just move ahead.  Could we all agree to ignore the obvious troll Blake2Pickens as well?  He's just trying to taunt us with every thread he starts.  I doubt he's a fan.  Every time someone replies to his threads it just encourages him.

Can't believe people are still responding to the troll.

Ok moving on. The core of the team is back, where is depth needed and where are some spots that starters could be upgraded?

Biggest need is LB.

Everything else depends on who we re-sign in free agency.

Arent all our Starters under contract for 1 more year at least?

Or you looking to beef up the back end?

This game isn't going to be moved on from. It's as simple as that.

Just like we have people that haven't moved on from the 05 game.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just 2015 will go down in Bengals history as arguably the biggest "What If" year. It will be talked about for years to come.

What linebacker spot? With Rey M and Burfict back as starters and Dawson backing up Brufict I would assume you mean strong side backer. If so who are some free agents you like or some guys in the draft that could fill that spot?

I haven't had time to look yet, but a 2-down SOLB should not be hard to find.

What I'd like to find is a LB who could cover a little better in our nickle package.  Not impressed with Vinny Rey or Lamur.
