Complete and utter incompetence is the calling card of the republican party. Say what you want about Bush and his cronies, but at the very least they we competent at lying to the public. The current republican party can't be trusted to run for public rat catchers much less the highest offices in the world and republican voters seem to be just fine with utter dysfunction at a time when the world may just erupt into global warfare. Apparently the plan is to take up fiddle playing and let Rome burn to the ground.

Wouldn't be surprised if in 5 years, even MTJ, Jordan and the current speaker are castigated as RINOs,

as the party lurches even further to the right.
