Trump says he doesn't like tweeting
#1
He hates sending out hateful or misleading or inflammatory messages every day for the last seven years plus!

He wouldn't even do it if he didn't have to get the "Truth" out about himself every time he thinks someone said something bad about him.

Or if the lying media would just praise him more!!!!1!!!!!111!!!

Hilarious

"Look, I don't like tweeting. I have other things I could be doing."

President-elect Donald Trump claimed to Fox & Friends on Tuesday that he disliked tweeting and only used the social media platform to counteract bad press coverage.

Trump's presence on the platform has been near-ubiquitous, and his tweets wield great power, driving news coverage and calling out countries like China and North Korea. They have even caused concern among officials and constituents, who worry that Trump will continue to tweet constantly as president and potentially harm sensitive diplomatic relations.

"But I get very dishonest media, very dishonest press and it's my only way that I can counteract," Trump told Fox.

He cited Rep. John Lewis' statement that he would boycott an inauguration for the first time in protest. The Georgia congressman didn't attend President George W. Bush's inauguration in 2001.

"Like, for instance, when John Lewis said, you know, he's never done it before where he skipped an inauguration. Well, he has. It turned out to be a lie. So I'm able to say that," said Trump.

The president-elect also boasted that he was close to 50 million followers across his social media accounts.

Trump also hinted that he might slow down on tweeting if he got more fair coverage.

"So when people misrepresent me, because the press is very dishonest, unbelievably dishonest, and when people misrepresent me, ... I have at least a way of saying it's a false statement. Now if the press were honest — which it's not — I would absolutely not use Twitter. I wouldn't have to."

And I'll be perfectly honest:  If PE Trump used twitter simply to correct facts like the Lewis thing I'd say he's doing OK.  But he can't do it without attacking the other person.  Sometimes just because he feels like it:

Nothing more than the delusions of a sick man who must be right all the time and has to think that everyone thinks he is a winner and the ones that are not are "losers and haters".

What did you vote for?

He doesn't like Tweeting, but he does it for the sake of 'Merica. A true patriot.

I wonder if someone has sat him down and just said, "Put the damn phone away" like I've done with my kids.

Goes back to what a lot of us said during the campaign:  Why would a "man" with his behavior at 70 years old suddenly change when given more power?

A friend on FB keeps telling me Trump doesn't have to change because that is what got him elected.  I disagree.  I think there is a minority of people who liked his loose lips but the rest were willing to "overlook it" because they hoped his policies would help them.

Those people never looked at his policies.  That's why my teacher friends who actually voted for him are up in arms over his nomination for sec. of education.  That's why the locals using the ACA can't believe he would REALLY repeal it with nothing to replace it yet.

I suppose 4 years is a long time and things can change by then, but can't he just act like a horse's ass for his entire presidency and then pull the "my opponent is the spawn of satan" card again in 2020?  That's assuming he even makes it 4 years and/or wants to be president for another term, if at all.
