Trump shares video of "great people" yelling "white power" at pro Trump parade

How you could possibly choose to live being governed by the deep state with a modicum of unrealistic demands from the far left progressives leaves me in bewilderment.

So yes, I and a large amount of people in the silent majority will be voting for Donald Trump so we can continue this country's committment to our Constitution and Bill of Rights and the United States of America. By defeating the push to form the Socialist States of America...

Oh I see, I denounced Trump so I'm clearly dying to be ruled by the most leftist government you've been told to imagine.  Interesting.

Trump isn't a republican and he doesn't care about the constitution.  The fact that candidates who actually vow to follow and protect the constitution have been tossed off into a 3rd party and are deemed fringe, insane, and un-electable should tell you all you need to know about your beloved "republican" party.  As much as neo-cons scream about the constitution and freedom they sure do keep getting behind candidates who gleefully promise to limit our freedoms "for our own good."

You can vote for Trump because you hate liberals and whatever you think they're going to do, but acting like Trump is some sort of champion of freedom and legitimate political and constitutional merit is misguided at best.

This is what I failed to understand in 2016 and what still baffles me today:  Anyone who paid even the slightest bit of attention knew that Trump would fail.  His entire personality is about style over substance and his lack of preparation or attention to detail dooms him.  Add on he doesn't want to do the work (that is why he hires people, right?) but he also doesn't trust anyone (because when you are always ripping people off you believe everyone is trying to rip you off too) so he hires family who are untrained and ill prepared to handle the job.

He's running the country not like "a" business but like "his" business. So we have huge debt, constant problems and a lack of real leadership short of insult and "tough talk".

But people didn't care.  They wanted a Republican and didn't want a Clinton.  Country be damned.

People can join the Trump cult all they want, but acting like he's some sort of paragon of freedom-loving, constitution and free-market protecting politics is a joke.  There is plenty of evidence that the list of people who want to see Trump out isn't exclusively left-wing maniacs, but I meh...whatever.

Ah, the old reference to "many people".

You are learning the playbook well.

I am lost here.  When has anyone said the PLCAA only applies if a company is politically neutral?  Are these "many people" also trying to remove protection under the PLCAA for any company that is not politically neutral?

Sorry I misenterpreted your comments.  When some people say "always" about people's positions they mean "everyone".

But you are now admitting that you know gun owners who are in favor of regualtions like a gun registry but still oppose a complete ban, right?  maybe that will help us move forward with this discussion.

How can "the most leftest" government imaginable have privite control of business and private property ownership?

Maybe you just don't know what the "extreme" left really looks like.

You must not hang around this board too often.  At any rate I think you are underestimating just how much being anti Trump has moved from being a position held by the ultra left.

I don't mean this as a personal insult, but do you realize you just said you don't care if you are ignorant of the facts because all you care about is party affiliation?

WhoDey2 Typical Fred, putting words in my mouth. I maybe ignorant of facts coming out of any Democrat or MSM mouths because its all drivel. Therefore the only facts I pay attention to are Republican...

This is not a jab on anyone either, but unfortunately, much of the country is this way which is another reason why an independent may never have a chance again.

Okay then.  Let's get back to my original question that you refused to answer.

How would a REPUBLICAN answer this question.

I'm not telling you to vote Democrat, I'm telling you that voting for Trump doesn't mean you voted for someone who cares about the constitution or anything resembling fiscal conservatism.

The guy is a vocal opponent of many things that separates our system of government from that of a shithole country dictatorship.

Actual republicans are abandoning ship in droves.  Thus goes beyond a bunch of liberals denouncing the guy.

If you think it's just a bunch of liberal liars that are against the guy I'd suggest you look into that Lincoln project thread.

The Lincoln project is nothing but a bunch of "never Trumpers" and RINOs. All they want is ANYBODY that is 100% establishment that can be controlled by the swamp lifers.

Trump is not close to that, and it chaps everybody's ass so bad they're all walking around in pain.

The fact that anybody would align themselves with a party that welcomes Biden, Schumer, Pelosi and the SQUAD boggles my mind

If Heaven forbid, the above gets elected. This once proud country will dissolve in to a national CHOP...

So you only believe Republicans unless they disagree with Trump in which case they are no longer Republicans unlike Trump who has been a "Republican" how long, exactly?

There'd be a lot to address, but I restrict it to that one.

What exactly makes you believe Trump is "anti-swamp"?

For honestly, I look around in his cabinet and his advisors and see swamp people. From Betsy to Ross to Kushner and everyone in between. I check his legislation and I see no piece that is aimed to restrict the influence of money, lobbying or donations or all those things the swamp just loves to do.
And his tax cuts, according to Trump, saved a lot of people lots of money - folks that hardly pass as "anti-establishment".

All things that make me wonder, how is Trump perceived as "anti-swamp"? What is it?

I must say, reading through your last few posts, you seem to be embodying the caricature of what the worst type of Trump supporter thinks and represents. You've proudly lauded your own ignorance about the opposition, while at the same time, fail to recognize that you seemingly know very little about Trump. You seem to loathe Democrats, yet have no issue supporting a man who was a life long Democrat until about 9 years ago when it became more advantageous to refer to himself as a conservative Republican. I dare say the majority of Republicans don't consider Trump and Republican, or even conservative for that matter.

He stands for none of the things you have espoused being passionate about, yet you flagrantly disregard that reality in favor of extreme tribalism and cult-like worship. When you state that you disregard everything not Republican, you are demonstrating a level of childlike behavior in which you insert fingers to ears and refuse to listen to anything that doesn't fit neatly within your very confined ideological bubble.

As it pertains to the MSM and your disregard of any news or information derived from such sources, may I ask what paragons of immaculate integrity you gather your news from. I'm interested to hear what these completely unbiased and incredibly reliable sources are so that I might have a gander.

Trump is anti-swamp because he can't/won't be controlled by the established Republicans or Democrats...
