Two Years Probation for Rape

The thought of a 44 year old raping a 13 year old should sicken you. The thought of that person pleading guilty and getting two years probation should also sicken you.

Crazy right?

There is a clear double standard.

I don't get why we treat women with kids gloves when it comes to them being sexual predators. This woman raped a child and will serve no jail time.

Prosecutors hate these cases. They know the probability of "where was she when I was 13" guy being on a jury is pretty high.

I know what you mean, but that might only work if the accused looks like the type of woman that would fit that sort of fantasy.
