What source? Pro Football reference has a total of 47 pressures for the season and this says 75.

PFF's pressure numbers.

They have Burrow tallied with 80 total pressures, 76 by the OL above.

Not sure I can buy that number. According to them he was pressured on nearly 60% of his drop backs. Doesn't remotely pass the eye test. It's also higher than any other source I can locate.

Possibly.
Is there a universal definition for what constitutes a hurry?
PFF is tagging more hurries than PFR is.

Pro Football Reference says Burrow has been:
Sacked - 17 times
Hit - 23 times
Hurried - Just 7 times

Meanwhile, here's PFF's (Jonah-Cappa-Karras-Volson-Brown):
Sacked - 3+1+5+3+1 = 13
Hit - 2+3+3+2+6 = 16
Hurried - 10+7+1+14+15 = 47

And they seem to be alone in that high number.

They might be high, but only 7 hurries on Pro Football Reference feels extremely low as well.
Burrow's had to have been hurried more than just 7 times across 7 games.

The whole difference seems to be in "hurries" which are subjective. If the play is designed for quick release is it a hurry? How does the "scorer" know?

From what I can find, here is the best definition...
"Awarded when the QB is forced to throw the ball early or is chased around the pocket by a defender."

Sounds like that is generic enough to be pretty subjective to me.

My best guess is it's purely decided by whoever is watching the snap.

I think everyone's is a bit different on pressure, but that said...

The 5 OL combined will never line up with a QB's total on sacks and hits regardless of the source because the 5 OL combined don't include RBs, TEs, and the QB's own fault.

All true, nice post TLL.

Thanks for the numbers there Ochocincos as well. Figured Jonah would have a tough time against Nick Bosa. That guy is great.

Multiple players can allow a pressure on the same snap.

Bosa lined up primarily over OBJr this week.

Just saw that. Orlando had a good game going against the best honestly. Surprised Nick Bosa didn't line up over Jonah instead
as I usually see him at LE and Jonah isn't quite as good as Orlando. Our OL played pretty great against the 49ers which is saying
something. Armstead gave us some trouble but overall we out played them physically.

Not something many would of predicted, if anyone. Things are certainly looking up all the way around for our team.
