Ways to get back at the NFL for their bias against the Bengals.

Remember how silly the Patriots fans looked when they were squealing about being victims?

It would only be whining if we lost and used it as an excuse.

Don't harp on it, but just make it known that we beat the odds, beat Roger, and stuck it to the entire NFL for hating on us.

Awesome idea!  We need to also make Rae Carruth an official member of the Bengals.  I also think we should fire Marvin Lewis and replace him with a sex offender with an eyepatch. It's high time we embrace our roles as NFL villains

WTF!!! Your logic is looney.

Try this genius.

If a girl dumps her boyfriend and doesn't want any of her girl friends to date him.
You know that, so just to get back at her you date her ex boyfriend.

How in your mind you think about jumping off a bridge to get even is stupid.

So your way to get back is to put a known abuser on our team? All that would do is make me dislike the Bengals. Not as in leave as a fan, but I'd be super disgusted.

The only way to get back at NFL is to go to SB and hope another small market team joins you.

Then repeat for multiple years.

Name some ways.

One way we can stick it to the NFL is sign .....

Ray Rice  Tongue

Even if he does not play, it would be a big screw you to the NFL.  Cool

I saw this thread a couple days ago, considered posting a response, then thought "no, this has to be a joke"... how would signing Ray Rice "stick it to the NFL" in any possible way?  Beyond the fact it would not help the roster in any way, they would be bringing a known abuser onto the roster.  If anything, it would further the narrative that the Bengals don't care about character (which is something they have tried to get away from).

As for Al Davis and the Raiders... he held up multiple championship trophies.  That is how he truly "won" in his battles with the NFL. Later in life, when the Raiders were no longer holding up those trophies, he was considered a laughing stock for many of his antics. Win in the post season and actually hold up a trophy or two.  Until then, it is what it is.

NFL took the Patriots first round pick in '07 over Spygate.

'07 Patriots went 16-0 and outscored their opponents by 19.7 points per game (topped only by the 1942 Bears).

I was assuming that we'd beat the snot out of them without breaking the rules in doing it.

Are you covering your head in the sand???

News Flash!!! We have abusers on our team. In fact almost every team in the NFL has an abuser or someone who did something that is shall we say not what a Choir Boy do. [Image: 1107343967_6ef3da725b-1.jpg?width=320&he...fit=bounds][Image: 7031.jpg?width=320&height=320&fit=bounds]

Al Davis and the Raiders won their titles because they played violent and had a reputation where other teams did not want to play them.
Once the Raiders dropped their "attitude" they started losing.

The thread is a joke, I don't see the Bengals signing Ray Rice even if he never had a problem with the law.

The issue is ways to get Roger and the NFL upset. It's stupid to just say play better and win a Championship.
We were robbed by the referees and insulted by the NFL when they handed their 10k fines to the Steeler's coaches.
The fact that they fined Porter meant the referee should have flagged him for being on the field when he should not. Did you forget the Peko penalty when he went on the field I did not. The NFL stated Pittsburgh's TD was not legitimate. Gee, thanks NFL referees and the NFL offices that reviewed the TD that night and said it "stands".

Do I really want Ray Rice back in the league? Yes. Many players have done far worse. Do I really want Ray Rice as a Bengal? No. We have RB's, but I would have wanted Ray Rice two weeks ago trying to run out the clock.

P.S. Mr. Hill forced a 14 year girl to have oral sex with him. That is just one abuse Mr. Hill had.
Pac Man Jones is another "character". Are you ok with these "characters" or are you a sheep and follow what the NFL office and the media say who is ok or not???

The premise of this thread is based on fiction.
This post brought to you by the Cincinnati Bengals. Proud leaders in squandering opportunity, since 1969.

Actually no, I have been quite outspoken about Pacman and his complete lack of character.  As for Hill, my understanding is that the girl was a freshman while he was a senior and that it was completely consensual.  If that is the case, then I would not consider it a big deal. Plenty of freshman and sophomore girls date upper classmen all the time.  If it was rape, as you say, then Hill should be in a cell right now and not on a playing field.

"Ways to get Roger and the NFL upset"... what purpose does that serve?  Isn't the goal to win championships?

Where did you get your understanding???

Make Burfict and PacMan team captains in 2016.
Today I'm TEAM SEWELL. Tomorrow TEAM PITTS. Maybe TEAM CHASE. I can't decide, and glad I don't have to.
