"We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks"
#1
This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. Julian Assange is such a divisive figure that it is hard to find a reasonably balanced source of information about him and what happened with Wikileaks. At the beginning of the show it seemed like it was going to be another piece of Pro-Assange rhetoric, but it actually does a good job of bringing up his flaws while at the same time ripping the media for the way he was treated.

Plus it is just a great piece of film making. It is slick and well produced. The best part of the story was the deep insight into Bradley Manning and his role in the massive leak.

It is currently showing on National Geographic Network and is something that EVERYONE should see. Although Wikileaks is down now and Assange is out of the spotlight the main subject of the documentary about limits on transparency in government information is still of major importance.

I'll give it a look.
