We were so bad in the 1990's mainly because we had a terrible offensive line

We generally had good WR's. Blake and Esiason provided good QB play at times. We generally had good RB's.

But...

We had a TERRIBLE offensive line.

Now we start 4 guys that would be backups on most teams. We have an above average QB. We have good RB's. We have good WR's.

Ponder that...

I remember Mikey Boy's quote about the O-line being pawns in the game and not important as skills positions.

20+ years later he still has the same amount of playoff W's

Yep. Center and Guard are positions the Bengals won't invest in.

Mike believes a QB cures all. Maybe it's because he was QB at Dartmouth, or maybe because he saw Otto Graham play on his daddy's team. Regardless, he's never going to change and he'll die having never seen his team win a playoff game. Hope it was all worth it to him to have it done his way.
