I had a dream last night that the Bengals lost today by a score of 69 to 62.

I have a "good" nervous feeling about this one. I think we're going to pull it off. Plus, I'm wearing my lucky boxer briefs! ThumbsUp

This could be a tough game ala KC. But this is the NFL and strange things can happen. I am rooting for our Bengals to buck the odds and get the win. If they do, our playoff chances increase significantly.

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

John Ross starting in place of AJ Green
Trey Hopkins starting at RG in place of Alex Redmond

Obviously no surprises on the inactive list. Everyone was listed as out or doubtful on Friday

#Bengals inactives:

WR A.J. Why run against best run defense in the NFL? Running more than passing will keep us in 3rd and 7 or more in my opinion.

Some useless uni-stats to throw at you Smirk ---

The Bengals are 21-6-1 all-time wearing the orange jerseys, including 6-0 when combined with black pants.

They are 9-1-1 in their last 11 games in orange jerseys, and 7 of the 9 wins have been by 10 or more points.

They are also 7-2 when they are not favored to win at home. The only 2 losses...Steelers

And the last time they were a 6 point dog, they won the game by 14.

I feel like I'm trying to convince myself we're winning this one! LOL

Honestly though, if the receivers and defense show up, I think we can.

I feel they also need to play well.

Just showing up is only good for getting them their game checks Ninja

To try and eat clock, which keeps Brees and that offense on the sidelines. Good strategy if it works. Having Price back and Hopkins at RG might help if that's the strategy.

I understand trying to keep Brees off the field, issue is Saints are stellar against the run so 1st and 2nd down runs for 1 or 2 yards at a time will play into Saints hands. I think we need to move chains with 4 and 5 yard passes on 1st and 2nd down to control clock.

I have a feeling those who are expecting us to get blown out are in for a surprise. This is a 1 pm non-Steelers game after all.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
