Well... Schitt.
#1
In times where new lows get increasingly hard to achieve, I feel that little tweet did the trick. For those who don't know, Trump called Adam Schiff "Adam Schitt".
Yeah. That's the leader of the country we're all supposed to admire and look up to.

Now the purpose of this thread is simple. I need a refresher - I need some conservative voics that tell me once more how this isn't that big of a deal, how liberals just get triggered too easily, how Adam Schiff had it coming and how taking issue with the tweet is a sign of a mental illness.

Also, if possible, how the left in its entirety is way worse.

Because right now, the way I see it, Trump does everything to poison the climate. Which is the wrong way to look at it, obviously.

A lot of us like to think we are the greatest nation ever, but we don't require anyone else to believe that. If you tell me you believe Austria to be hands down the greatest nation ever created, i won't argue with you. Yeah we have a clown for four years, and then we won't, and the world will keep moving along.

I think it's clear that Obama and Dems just aren't insecure, don't pay off enough porn stars, don't get divorced enough for cheating on wives, don't troll enough on social media, don't join our enemy's to attack our citizens, don't love Dictators or ignore our Troops (just to use them for political gain) enough, don't flirt with enough Nazi's, and have too much decency to call folks names for the American Voters.

Personally, I'd rather lose then win like this because this is what the people want. It's the American voter that has failed this nation. This is what they want and there is no reason to lower your morals or patriotism to give it to them.

Big deal. Obama used to call people things all the time. Clinton called an entire group of Nazis and bigots "deplorable." Pelosi... something ...something

Austria is not the greatest nation ever created.

The US can claim that and does, and the thing is, I used to believe it. That's one of the things that make Trump so hurtful. And it's not so much about Trump, he's just a guy. It's about the folk accepting Trump and believing what he does is just fine or even great. That's what makes a nation less great in my book. And that makes me sad.

What I can't get is *IF* this was a simple mistake...look where the "F" and "T" are on a keyboard...why didn't he take it down and correct it?  He's done that before.

Which implies it was deliberate.

And the silence from his supporters speaks volumes...again.

Geeze it's only been up 17 minutes.  Can't quite claim crickets yet.

Well, of course it was deliberate. Calling it a typing error would border denial of reality. He already called people dogs and lowlifes and whatnot, so it's not like this would be too far out of character.

Sorry.  I meant in general...not here.

Not a lot of push back from his supporters on anything he does, but I thought this or his comments on McRaven might get a "tsk tsk" from my friends who have been blinded by Trump otherwise.

He *usually* doesn't curse or go foul with the names...usually they are 3rd-4th grade level stuff like "horseface".

So he must have been really mad/irritated about something.

Creative is my second name. Really. My parents wanted to come up with something creative, and that was the best they could do.

That's pretty funny.  So is it Kreativ or has google let me down once again?

It is, google did not betray you. Bad news is, that's not really my second name. I blatantly lied before.

Google more trustworthy than Hollodero.  What a world.

I'm almost more concerned with the part of that tweet where he complained that the Senate didn't confirm the Mueller investigation... which they don't have to...

That's what happens when they elect someone with no knowledge of the job and also refuses to admit he needs to learn anything.

Oh sure, I'm more concerned about many things. Those things just aren't new. One could spend 10.000 words talking about the fact that the president calls inconvenient media outlets fake news and enemy of the people while constantly spreading misinformations for people to believe anyway because liberals and such. Sure. It's just getting old, unfortunately.

Part of me blames the voters and takes the "we got exactly what we wanted" mentality, but I have to admit the fact that Trump (whether anyone wants to admit it or not) won the presidency despite getting less votes takes some onus off the voting public.  America seems to be going through a phase where we know it's not wise to hop on the back of that motorcycle with that sexy bad boy, but we are sick of being good and doing our homework and we kinda want to stick it to our parents for trying to threaten us and control our lives.

You can compare it to many things, but I see the Trump presidency as that lamentable "emotional/goth/rebel" phase we all went through in high school.  We have a crisis of conscience and a lack of self, so we fell in with an easily accessed group in order to rebel against those who dare to tell us we are being short-sighted and egotistical.

Then again, maybe it isn't a phase and the USA elects one crazy celebrity after another until we start burning our money to keep warm ala Germany after the wars they just had to start.

That's another thing that is intriguing about this.  I can find the nearest auto body garage and I'd bet my left nut the guy running it is a fan of Trump.  I can walk in there and say I want a job here, I never worked on a car, I know nothing about cars, and I think it's awesome that I don't care to learn about cars.  Will he find that refreshing and honest?  A welcome change from all the mechanics who try to get jobs there?

Ah, but these are 2003 Dodge Neons we are talking about here...gotta play it safe with those. Can't just act all willy-nilly like we can with the "greatest" country in the world, eh?

I know absolutely no one here ever looks at FoxNews, but they don't even mention the misspelling.  They just completely ignore it.  At least on their website.

We have a clown for a President, and if we criticize him we are accused of having a mental illness.
