Put this in the "Did not see that coming" category. Creed guitarist killing it with his cover of Sinatra's Got You Under My Skin.

Color me impressed.

Don't know how many in this thread like Thrash Metal, but I've been digging these guys lately. Sad the vocalist/driving force of the band passed away about a year and a half ago. They are a very, very tight live band. You don't really need to know their music to follow along and for a Metal band, that's pretty impressive.

I chose this concert because the vocalist at 9:45-ish says the first part of the chorus "Don't Mess With" then does something I've never seen in a live show before. He grabs the mic from the stand, goes to the front of the stage, grabs a dude that's crowd surfing by the front of the shirt, drags him to his face to scream the rest of the chorus with him "The Hornet's Nest" and then shoves him angrily/lovingly back into the crowd.

Fv<#in' awesome.

There is nothing like a live George Clinton concert.  Non-stop hard-core funk for 3-4 hours with different musicians rotating on the stage.  The crowd is like a circus.

A lot like a Grateful performance in that it is more of an "event" than just a "show".

Or at least that is what it was like 25 years ago.
