What's with all the Twitter boycotts?
#21
Musk fires his sales managers and account executives making it difficult if not impossible to get ahold of someone about their advertising accounts and Elon wonders why advertisers drop off.

Musk retweets false information about Paul Pelosi then deletes it without an apology. He tweets out racist memes, he claims free speech and regularly blocks people who criticize him and he wonders why other companies want to distance themselves from him.

Do major corporations with name-brand mainstream products want their ads showing up next to a tweet by Alex Jones or Nick Fuentes? Probably not

There are many many ways companies can choose to spend their advertising dollars. Distancing themselves from Twitter, a company whose platform can fail at any moment run by an out-of-control megalomaniac is easily a business decision.

Fueled by the pursuit of greatness.

Just the whip of the iceberg.

The left wing doesn’t lie, and when they do it’s with good intentions!

Claim: The ice cream cone was chocolate chocolate chip.

Fact check: MOSTLY FALSE: The ice cream cone was chocolate chocolate chip with sprinkles.

He didn't answer to me as well.

Right. Let me guess. You just only seem to notice them when they're from the Left and you tend to ignore them from the Right? How many times did you openly call out Trump when he spewed bullshit? Are you one of these that thinks the Left lies just as much as the Right? Long before Trump, year after year Fox News viewers were consistently polled as least informed viewers of the big three cable news networks. Ever wonder why?

Watching Roger Ailes' Fox News about 20 years ago. I peek in almost everyday. I'm never concerned with the facts they tell you, it's the obvious facts that they hold back that have concerned me for a couple of decades. That's why whenever I go over to my MAGA friends' house, they turn off all right wing media because I debunk and fill in the blanks for story after story and if I know my current Conservatives . . . you're not too fond of being told that you're being fed partial truths. Rip the Clinton News Network or MSNBET, I don't care . . . but rip into Fox News, OAN or Newsmax and here come the knuckle dragging, mouth breathing *ahem* "patriots" to defend their choice of media consumption usually through the very predictable whataboutism. Don't question it at all . . . just blindly defend it.

Are you blind???

What part of "I am against ALL, I repeat ALL media from spreading lies." don't you understand????? Duh!!!

It's really saying something when you're too toxic even for Elon.

“I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk tweeted in a reply.

He also said so much taboo stuff that he had Alex Jones looking a bit flummoxed and quick to point out that he didn't agree.

My buddy said he thinks Kanye may be going more overboard now in an attempt to pass it all off as performance art.

Only the biggest Ye simps will buy that though. The world does not look kindly on Holocaust deniers and Hitler lovers.

Fun fact about Alex Jones, he was one of the few conservative Twitter bans that Elon didn't reverse. Elon's reason:

I love it when conservatives reveal that conservatism is based mostly around only caring about things that personally affect/affected them haha. Like Dick Cheney being the vice president with George W Bush, a man who actively sought to amend to constitution to make gay marriage illegal, and supporting gay marriage because his daughter happened to be a lesbian.

Somewhere down the line, I'm sure a republican congressman will happen to have a trans daughter and suddenly care about their rights too :).

To be honest it's the same picture used by Rael ( which is a french grifting prophet Big Grin ) living in Canada.

The problem is that Kanye is linked to Elon so bad buzz is bad buzz.

I just found it to be a disingenuous statement from someone that has promoted Fox News as their most trusted cable "news".

Elon Musk has just restored the Twitter account of Andrew Anglin, the neo-Nazi who founded the infamous website Stormfront and said women should be “raped and locked in cages.”

Sounds like a plan to bring back advertisers.

I remember when they were holding hearings because they thought big tech was showing a liberal bias. Then one of their favorite billionaires bought Twitter and told everyone to vote Republican.

Do the ones that were crying bias still see any problem there? Because I haven’t heard any crying as of late?

I think Kanye will eventually commit suicide.  He's going into media outlets daily and saying the most controversial things he can come up with, then doubling down almost immediately.  He doesn't seem to have any regard for his personal reputation or wealth and he's alienating nearly anyone that ever tried to stand up for him.

I'm not in the business of feeling sorry for multi millionaires, but it's hard to watch him do what he's doing to himself.  He's full-on debilitating mental illness on display in front of the entire world, and he's incapable of being helped.  Anyone close enough to him to suggest such a thing would be quickly dismissed and ridiculed publicly.

I don't think it's performance art, but if it is, he's probably in too deep of a hole to pass it off at this point.

Well last night Elon got someone else to post the "Twitter Files" and claim that Biden made Twitter suppress stories about Hunter.

It's a lot to read and get in to but the end result was Biden's team DID request certain tweets get reviewed...most of which were homemade porn by Hunter than allegedly came off the laptop and which violated Twitter's TOS and several laws...lol.

What Elon didn't count on was that the files also said that Trump's team ALSO requested several tweets be reviewed and removed and that people would remember that in 2020 when this was all happening only one of those two people was actually in government.  So their claim of government interference and censorship is really about Trump, not Biden.

That hasn't kept the usual trolls (Tucker for example) from saying this is all about Biden "hiding" something.

In the end it doesn't seem to be much of anything so the gop will have to go back to having hearings when they take over in January I guess.

I will be taking no further questions at this time.

That quote from Tucker is weird considering he claimed he had the laptop ?

Oh maybe he lied ... Who knows.

Let's face it. The attacks on conservatives is basically an attack on the Bible. The Bible is 100 percent truth and many don't follow it. There are consequences for the decision to ignore the Bible. Fox News is not the church either. The only social media account you can count on as real truth is what you have heard or seen first hand which is very little. BTW the Bible accounts had multiple eyewitnesses to corroborate the truth.

This is coming from the political party that made Trump president rather than putting him to death as the book of Leviticus directs.

You can't reconstruct events decades later, insert eyewitnesses into your own account,

Then claim their "testimony" is, well, corroborating testimony.

So I have been suspended 12 hours ( once again :p ) from Twitter just because I said ' Drink some bleech then' to some fellows who wanted to prosecute Fauci and of course jail him without a trial.

Free speech they said ...

It's Ok to praise nazis, to insult people but not OK to repeat the magnificent advices from TFG ...
