For me it would be:

Cheap Utility

Andre Smith
Kasim Edebali
Brandon Wilson
Tony McRae
Matt Lengel
Adolphus Washin
Tyler Kroft
C.J. Uzomah
Clark Harris
Josh Tupou
Trey Hopkins

Pricey possible re-signs:

Darqueze Dennard
Tyler Eifert
Preston Brown

Some of this may depend on your anticipated drafting strategy. A 1st round LB may make Preston Brown unnecessary. Same with an early corner and Dennard. On the other hand Tyler Eiffert may be a luxury even if we don't draft a TE unless he is on an even cheaper, incentive based deal than the one we got this year.

I'd try and re-sign

Kroft and Uzomah you can't get enough TE's as we've seen and both are decent.

A. Smith just for depth at OT if the price is right ? T. Hopkins as well.

I'd think about Tupou and P. Brown as depth depending on what they're planning going forward and that's about it.

Dennard just isn't that good, buh bye

My guess would be that we re-sign Dennard on defense and Eifert and Kroft on offense, plus some lower guys to compete in training camp.

The reason I say this is because our biggest needs are on the OL and LB. We really need multiple players in both these areas, so we don't want to create a new hole somewhere else that have to be filled in the draft.

See what the new DC can do with Dennard and the corners and the new OC with the existing TEs. Eifert will sign for an incentive laden contract.

Of course, I'm assuming the front office will maintain its status quo of worshiping the draft and players cut from other teams, rather than actually using free agency to sign quality guys. After all we are getting a new coaching staff, not new front office staff.

I'd go Dennard, Kroft, Uzomah, Hopkins, Harris, and maybe Andre Smith.

Hopkins is a terrific utility backup interior lineman. We need at least 2 TEs signed. Andre for backup swing tackle. Dennard because we are getting pretty thing on corner depth, and there are many other needs in the draft.

Dennard - Better than Kirkpatrick

Uzomah/Kroft/Eifert - Sign 2 out of the 3 while still looking to draft someone in the mid rounds

Smith - Should never expect him to be a starter at Tackle but good depth

Dennard. best tackler on the team
Smith will come cheap and can play 3 spots
Hopkins.still has upside and has shown he can backup
Price.
Eifert will come as a bargain. he still manipulates a defense
when healthy.

The bolded I'd sign for sure.

Dennard depends on the condition/pay of the contract same for Eifert.

The the TE group is a toss up.

The rest of the players sign for camp bodies and battle it out to stay.

We need Dennard bc he’s a solid nickle corner and even though he’ll get overpaid with his injury history he’d be worth keeping. I’d keep either Kroft or Uzi and maybe eifert if he’ll come back on another cheap one year deal. Preston was okay but I’d rather try and upgrade that position even though there’s not many options. I’d take him back and def go after a LB in the first two rounds
Who Dey!!!
